Balancing of drive shafts

"Hi folks! I've been thinking about drive shaft balancing, but I can't decide. On one hand, I prefer my car to run without shaking. On the other hand, it's pretty expensive.
 
Has anyone here had their drive shaft balanced? Was there a noticeable change? Does it make sense to pay for it? Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions!"
